One of our most long standing relationships is with one of the largest American lift manufacturers. Their global footprint within the UK is established across 3 sites in Glasgow, Bristol and their European Headquarters in London. This particular customer required a new system that would offer a complete audio and video conferencing solution across all 3 sites.
In recent years we’ve been driven to seek new relationships with distributors who we can include as a trusted partner. Partners who we can rely on for additional support, outstanding pricing and delivery.
With this project in mind we contacted AV and communications distributor Square 1 Products, who came highly recommended. The team at Square 1 Products have over 20 years’ experience of supporting resellers of all sizes. As well as providing hardware, they also offer a range of professional and speciality services creating a one-stop-shop solution for any technological requirement.
A senior member of the Square 1 Products team offered to accompany us to the initial meetings with our customer to discuss the requirement. This allowed us to demonstrate that we fully understood the requirement and were able to deliver a solution that not only offered value for money but came with the longevity that a video telepresence system can provide.
It was agreed that a full and comprehensive Site Survey would be carried out at each location, this led to schematics being drawn up which would guarantee the delivery of the right equipment for a successful installation.
The Site Survey revealed that the sites at Glasgow and Bristol required single and dual 46” commercial LED screens with professional grade mounting solutions and a wall mounted speaker system attached to the wall, along with hardware provided by the video conferencing client VIDYO that would link into the desking solution featuring a complete microphone array.
The Headquarters in London required the same solution but with 5 x 46” LED screens and a larger microphone array supplied by Phoenix Audio Conferencing.
But it didn’t stop there, as Square 1 Products always provide additional support with every project which saw our customer receive all site documentation, full operational training and on-going support and the maintenance agreements providing lasting peace of mind.
The successful delivery of this project was down to our now close relationship with the team at Square 1 Products, the products specified and the additional white label services that they were able to supply.
I’d be hard pushed to find a distribution business that would support us as well as Square 1 Products did, and our working relationship during this project saw them work with us seamlessly, becoming an extension of our own business.
